Hi, I’m Amanda—the founder and designer behind Amanda Kari Jewelry.
Before starting this business, I worked in finance. While I appreciated the stability, I knew my heart was pulling me toward a more creative path. After leaving my career, I packed my bags and travelled throughout Thailand. That experience gave me a fresh perspective and inspired me to create a life doing something I truly loved.
When I returned home to Calgary, Alberta, I began teaching myself how to create jewelry using natural stones, crystals, and wire wrapping. What started as a creative hobby quickly became a passion that consumed every spare moment.
On February 1, 2015, I officially launched my business under the name Jewelry by Amanda. What began as a small dream quickly grew into my full-time career, and I’ve been fortunate enough to do what I love every day since.
Over the years, this business has taken me on an incredible journey. I started in Calgary before relocating to Revelstoke, British Columbia, where I proudly operated a storefront for two summers. Today, I’ve settled in beautiful Lake Country, BC, where I design and curate every collection from my home studio.
Creating has always been a part of who I am, but what truly inspires me is helping people feel beautiful and confident in what they wear. There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing a piece of jewelry can become part of someone’s everyday life, celebrate a milestone, or remind them of a special moment.
This relaunch marks an exciting new chapter. Along with a fresh collection and a renewed vision, Jewelry by Amanda is becoming Amanda Kari Jewelry. This new name feels more personal and better reflects the heart behind the brand and the journey it’s taken to get here.
